You get a new dog, play with it a little and a notice should come up that says he/she has settled down quite a bit. Then it will ask you to say the name of your choice out loud over and over a few times until the puppy learns it. If it does not understand, there will be red question marks over your dog's head, but if he understands, there will be a light bulb and a noise. But make sure to be careful because you cannot rename your puppy. It may take a while, but don't be discouraged!
