on the bottom of the safe there is a round metal plug, turn it to the left using a flat bladed screw driver, when it is off you will see concrete, taking the screw driver and hammer remove this concrete untill you have a small hole at least 4inches wide take a large drill and make a hole, you are now inside, take a long metal bar and snap out the cover plate screw(easy) now you can turn the lock and line up the gates so the fence can drop in, you will need a bright light to see this.when you are through put a piece of good tape over your hole on the inside and fill it back with plaster of Paris and put your metal plug back over the hole, you will never know that it was ever done

Purchased a Brinks 5056 safe(at yardsale), and combination was accidentally locked inside, key works but will not open without combination. Contacted First Alert, said they had info I just needed to get notarized authorization to open, which I did, but now they say combination for that range of models is missing. How can I open safe?
