The old "kick the locker" move can sometimes work, but it may damage the locker or get you into trouble. Here is an alternate way to open a jammed locker.
Jammed Locker!
Place your knee close to the opening side of the locker and press your knee hard onto the locker and hold.
Put in your combination into your lock, and make sure you get the code right so you don't have to re do the process. (While your knee is still pushing on the locker door)
Pull the latch and the locker will most likely open.
Find out what had jammed the locker, most likely jackets, backpacks, or notebooks.
What If It Doesn't Work
Press harder with your knee and redo the process, keep at it!
Worst case scenario, get a teacher or janitor for help. Trust me, the teachers have seen the "jammed locker" case countless times.
The janitor or teacher most likely will sign an excuse or pass, so you will not be counted late to your classes.
How To Avoid Getting A Jammed Locker
Sometimes your locker just doesn't want to cooperate and it is not your fault. On the days that it is your fault, make sure you do the following.
Before closing your locker, check and make sure nothing is in the way of it closing.
Do not smash it shut, close it shut.
Make sure it is closed all the way.
