Look at your CD player and search for a tiny hole near the CD player. This is designed to allow you to open the CD player when it is stuck. Insert a small pin or paper clip into the hole and the CD player should open up.
TAKE THE CD PLAYER OUT AND APART ITS THE ONLY WAY WITHOUT DAMAGING THE CD PLAYER
The Disc is no longer recognized as media that can be played through your player, or you eject button is stuck on.
Put it in a CD player.
It is possible that an Insignia 5-disc CD player says no disc in the player's window because the sensor is bad inside the player. Try using a cleaning kit to clean the CD player.

A properly operating CD player will not damage a CD because there is no physical contact with the disc except in the center, where no music is stored, however a defective player can damage the disc if the alignment is off causing the disc to touch the internal components of the player.

How did that even happen...
Don't know how stuck the CD is in the CD player, but I used another CD to pry it up and out - worked fine for me.
If the CD Player will not read the CD then either there is something wrong with the CD or the CD player or the CD or CD player needs to be cleaned.
