It is on for a reason. Have your local auto parts store read the code(s) to help determine what the next step should be in correcting the problem. It could be as simple as a loose fuel cap.
open hood and remove the three bolts holding the headlight assembly. Pull assembly forward and unscrew the cap at the back of the assembly. Remove the plug and open the clamp. replace bulb, clamp and wires. Put back together.
open the hood, remove 3 screws on each headlight and pull the headlight straight out, unscrew the black plastic cap, loosen spring retainer but don't remove it. install new bulb and put it back together.

Had same problem at first, The car needs to be open then just press the cover over the cap. If the car is locked the cap will not open...

try running with fuel cap open. If it keeps running, breather in fuel cap blocked, strip fuel cap and clean.
yea, you remove the ignition key and open the door. then the concealed cap latch will release the cap. open cap by hand.
