If it's a power-opened top like my own, first make sure all the windows are down and the engine is on or you may drain the battery.
There is a handle right above the windshield. Fold it down and turn it 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. Push it up about 6-8 inches. Push and hold the 'open' button on the console until it is fully retracted and the boot hatch is closed.
