It varies. On older Fiestas e.g. mk2 and mk3 up to year 1994 the fuel cap has a keyhole. The key (originally the ignition/door lock key - good way to determine if the cap has been changed at any point) is inserted and turned right at ~90 degrees to release the fuel cap. On models after 1994 however, the design was changed to have a lid over the fuel cap.

To activate the child lock on a 2002 Ford Fiesta, open the rear doors and locate the small lock lever on the edge of each door. Use a flathead screwdriver or your finger to slide the lever to the "lock" position. This will prevent the rear doors from being opened from the inside, ensuring the safety of child passengers. Once set, close the doors, and the child lock will be engaged.
To remove a door lock from a Ford Fiesta Fresco, first, ensure the door is open and disconnect the vehicle's battery for safety. Remove the door panel by unscrewing any screws and gently prying it away from the door frame. Once the panel is off, locate the lock mechanism, typically held in place by screws or clips, and disconnect any linkage or wiring. Finally, carefully pull the lock out of the door and replace it as needed.
