Install new thermostat with copper element(spring) towards engine.(Note: If your thermostat has a hole in the ring, install with hole at the top(12 noon) position)4. Install new gasket.5. Install housing.6. Install hose and clamps.7. Install electrical connection(coolant temperature switch).8. Refill coolant to proper level.9. Check for leaks. Retighten as necessary.
