When you go down to the basement, in the room with the blue and red floor, pull out the middle statue you see on the left side. On the wall you will see a torch. Click it and you will see a pie menu with one option; pull. Click this option and then if I remember correctly, pull a statue onto the pad on the right side. After this the door will open and the rest is self-explanitory! Hopefully I helped!
