Well, You can get 1 month free by making new accounts which is a lengthy process and anything you do on another gamertag isn't on the new one you make so your basically just starting over every single time, you can get someone to give you a free month because sometimes they get them in their game cases etc.. I would just consider you not trying to do it for free and just pay the 9 dollars. When you have gold you can buy months ahead of time and it's like 1 dollar. and you get like 2 free arcade games I think.
