Grasp, gently, the scruff of her neck with your right hand (instructions for a right handed person) slowly scoop her up with your left hand supporting her hind quarters with your left hand. Using the right hand on the scruff of the neck, for control only, slide her head under your left arm and hold gently but firmly against your left side. You can let go of her neck and carry/support her this way. To put her down just reverse these actions. Since she is pregnant I would not pick her up and carry her around any more than necessary. You risk dropping her and that would not be good.
