Jeopardy just means danger. You can place your character in danger any way you want! This doesn't even have to be physical danger - it can be danger of losing a job or a relationship, danger of failure or shame, or even danger of a change in the life of the character.

You can place a character in jeopardy by putting them in situations where they face imminent danger, such as being trapped in a burning building or chased by a killer. Increase the stakes by raising the threat level and creating obstacles that make it difficult for the character to escape or resolve the situation. This can create tension and suspense for the audience as they wonder how the character will survive or overcome the danger.
