How do you place a claymore in Call of Duty Black Ops?

You select claymores in your inventory (using your arrowpad) you then press the RT trigger in the back right of the controller to place it infront of where you are standing. When an enemy crosses infront of it, it will blow up.

Claymores are unlocked at Level 31. The perk Scavanger allows you to pick up another claymore after your first one is on the field. Don't put down more than 2 in the same place or else when your first claymore explodes without killing someone the other explodes with it and you just wasted 2 claymores.

To get a claymore on black ops multiplayer, you have to buy it as an equipment. There is going to be a row that say leathal, tactical, and equipment, click equipment and it will give you choices. The claymore will cost 5,000 dollars or money

well you go to the pad, and you press down on the right side, though you may not have any on some levels
