You put them in left to right in the same way you get them: lesvoyk rune (acorn), kobold rune (branch), jotunn rune (1st tree), nackrosor rune (2nd tree), dokkalfar rune (stump)
Keep going right in the woods and you put the runes in the huge tree.
keep going to the big 'sacred' tree and place them in the order you got them.
pop the runes in the marks of them in the order you found the runes
You start in the top-left and work your way to the right.
They are all over the place. Every time you go into a section of the forest there is a new rune. Then to get them you just jump on the screen where they are. Sometimes they are problematic and it's like you can't get the rune. Otherwise you should be ok. Have fun!
Once you have moved through the 5 areas, you reach the forest center and the Elf Queen. To access the center, place the 5 runes on the correct spots on the tree, in the correct order : acorn, plant, tree, fruited tree, stump. The brambles will disappear and you can enter.
Acorn, Branch, mushroom, Tree, Bark of tree. Basically Left to right :) - Mrs Gabrielle Warner-Manson
You have to travel through the regions inhabited by the magical forest creatures (dryads, elves, trolls, and gremlins) and recover the 5 mystical Runes along the way: Lesovyk - acorn Kobold - plant (sapling) Jötunn - tree Näckrosor - fruited tree Dökkálfar - stump (see related question)
do you mean island of ruins? if you do, the island of ruins is in the north eastern sea chart , just southwest of isle of the dead
For non-members, the main source of nature runes is non-player characters that drop them (such as Dark Wizards or Flesh Crawlers), as most monsters that drop runes may occasionally drop nature runes. There is also a lava-surrounded island in high level wilderness where nature runes may be tele-grabbed from a spawn. Each tele-grab gives you 3-4 nature runes.
The easiest place to get runes would be the grand exchange in varrock, but can also be purchased at mage stores. Look for the symbol on the map for locations.
Mostly Fire runes but Law runes and Air runes are not far behind them.
