Running out of air, Lara tries to lift the gate but it is too hard and she goes back up to the surface, leaving Amanda to die. After the past, you come back to the present and have to play present Lara again. Here she goes to the cave now which is filled with water- still. You must dive in and at one bit Lara takes out the water by pulling four gemstones in a hall of water. She then finds Amanda's shoe but is untied. She thinks that maybe she untied her shoe and left. Finally, more men come to attack the site. Lara escapes and goes to Japan.
