How do you play Mafia at a party?

To play the fun way of Mafia, you must have at least 11 people. One person shall be the host and he/she will pass out cards with either a 'C' (citizen) , a 'D' (Detective) , or a 'M' (Mafia). There will be 2 mafias, 2 detectives and 6 citizens (or more, depends on how many people are playing). DO NOT SHARE YOUR CARD! The host will say "everyone close your eyes" and then "Mafias open your eyes and find eachother" While this is going on no one will talk besides the host. The host will say "find someone you want to kill" and they will not say anything just point to 1 person. The host should confrim without talking and say "Mafias close your eyes". Next the host will say "dectectives open your eyes and point to someone you think is the Mafia" They must agree and the host will nod or shake their heads depending on who the person pointed to. The host cannot lie!The host will say "Dectectives close your eyes" and "everyone open your eyes". tell everyone who was killed by the Mafia but dont say who the mafia is and make sure the person who died tells everyone what the dead persons job was and no lieing about that. Let the everyone vote someone to kill and they can talk and such. After they do so, make sure that person who died say what he is too. Repeat until either the mafias win (by killing both dectectives) or if the dectectives win (by convinceing the citizens to vote off both mafias) The games gets addicting!
