There is currently a Runescape 2 and it is a popular MMORPG. You can play it at the website www.runescape.com. It is a F2P (Free to play) and P2P (Pay to play). There was originally Runescape 2, but they renamed runescape 1 "Runescape Classic" and named runescape 2 just "runescape". Runescape classic is runescape 1. Runescape is runescape 2, but they dont call it 2, well most people dont, they just call it runescape. Ricco119
Unless you made your Runescape account before 2005 then you cannot access Runescape Classic
You cannot become a Runescape classic member anymore. You have to be a classic member before the conversion to Runescape 2. The Runescape classic is only available to member. The only ways to play runescape classic is to get a classic account, which is illegal as account sharing/purchase is ban-able and playing on private servers count as third-party, which is also a ban-able offense now, since swiftswitch.

RuneScape actually has many private servers out on the internet now that feature the old RuneScape Classic game that everybody used to love. Instead of playing other games like RuneScape you can actually play it on one of these servers.RSCEmulation is a community of active players that provide RuneScape Tips and help others who want to play on a RuneScape private server. It is a fun environment where most believe in playing free RuneScape over other games like RuneScape. It is a project that is constantly updated to provide the best free RuneScape Classic private server experience possible.I would definitely recommend checking it out at http://www.rscemulation.net
