Play an E.
same as f#
An alto sax can play from a low Bb to a high F/F# depending on whether or not you have the key, some don't
That would be your F scale.
To play F put down all the fingers on your left hand ( the top of the sax) then add the first finger on the right hand. That's low f natural, if you want high f natural add the octave key, which is the key near your left hands thumb.
The Mario theme tune is a very distinctive piece of music. You could learn it on the alto sax by looking up the sheet music.
Here are some notes I found. F C F C G# C Eb G C this is my answer B _ F# ___ B _ F# D _ G# A ___ C# _ F# I thought it started with a low C
The KEY of the alto sax and baritone sax is in Eb. The Tenor is in Bb
The Alto Saxophone is in Eb When you play an F# on the Alto Sax it will sound as an A on the Piano. Response to previous answer: No, most are Eb. There are different companies that make a Bb (not a tenor or soprano) If you play a written C on the sax, it will sound as an Eb on a piano A tuner would be helpful to find out what concert pitch you have. Play a C on an alto into the tuner. The pitch that shows up on the screen of the tuner is the pitch of your instrument i believe
jaws is a half step apart B, Bb, B, Bb, B, Bb ect..;
concert g minor b, c#, d, e, f#, g, a, b
The alto sax only goes to Low Bb, there is no possible way to play a Low G unless you somehow extend the tube of the ax (ie with a piece of cardboard) but I wouldn't recommend that, so there is no "low G" (below the staff) for alto sax.
