How do you play the fledge shooting game in skyward sword?

First you will need to help Fledge get stronger by giving him Stamina Potions. You can do this at night in his room inside the Knight Academy. You will need to do this twice throughout the game and eventuallly Fledge will still ask you if he'll ever become strong as you by doing more push ups. Tell him it doesn't matter how many he does and he will thank you for the response. After progressing further Fledge will stay by the Training Hall near the Knight Academy (in the morning) and he will let you play a shooting game.
