Since White Stripes is a two-piece band with only a guitarist and a drummer, start there. Seven Nation Army is easy to learn and will make you famous!

I used to play guitar, and the first song I ever played was Iron Man. It's easy and a good song too. :) Smoke On the Water by Deep Purple, Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes, and the main riff from Sunshine Of Your Love by Cream are all good places to start.
