There are many types of Ghanaian drums. The loonga, or talking drums; The kpanlogo; and the sogo.
The kpanlogo is a traditional Ghanaian musical instrument, specifically a type of drum. It is typically made from a hollowed-out wooden shell and is covered with animal skin, producing a rich, resonant sound. Kpanlogo drums are commonly used in social and ceremonial contexts, particularly in the Ewe and Anlo communities, and they play a vital role in accompanying dance and storytelling. The instrument is known for its versatility and is often played in ensemble settings.
Traditionally, a drum major does not play the drums. It is just the title. However, it is possible that a Drum Major would play the drums, though.

your question does not make much sense. what is the point of an electric drum if you can't play 'properly' on it?
i have been looking at some sites and a single drum can't play chords. Nor can a drum set unless the drums are tuned to definite pitches (tympani or steel pans).
