Trumpets and flutes both play on the treble clef. They both usually have the melody in music pieces. A difference is that trumpets are B flat insturments and flutes are C.
trombones, trumpets, bagpipes, recorders flutes! the amount he owned was * 10 trombones, * 14 trumpets, * 5 bagpipes, * 76 recorders and * 78 flutes!
The typical array of band instruments play "American We." There are trombones (obviously, seeing Fillmore's accomplishments), trumpets, flutes, clarinets (bass and regular), saxophones (alto, tenor, and baritone) tuba, baritone, and percussion.
No.
Early trumpets had no valves, so they could only play a very limited set of notes. They only had a wider variety of notes as they played higher and higher (which is why trumpet music from the Baroque and Classical periods is so high).
To play music.
You can only finger one note at a time on the flute, so there are no chords. You can play a duet, though.
Yes. Piccolo trumpets are trumpets with exactly half the length of tubing as a normal trumpet, which allows them to play a full octave higher.
They play with the woodwinds, and usually play the same music as the flutes.
No. The first known instruments are flutes made of bone.
A trumpet plays the highest notes of all the brass instruments Other relatively common brass instruments include (in descending order by pitch): Flugelhorn Mellophone French Horn Trombone Baritone Euphonium Tuba Although flutes and clarinets can play higher notes than trumpets, flutes and clarinets are part of the woodwind family.
I think because the woodwind cant produce that loud of a sound and the brass can... cause i play the trumpets with trombone sitting next to me and saxaphones sitting next to them and all 3 of us produce a sound so load, we cant hear the clarenets and flutes even tho them 2 together have a greater number of players than us brass insterments so in conclusion, the brass play loader than the woodwind insterments
