You can either play a hot seat game, with on Nintendo DS, where each player has the DS and has their turn. Or you can play a Wireless Game, where each player has a DS and the Age Of Empires: Age Of Kings game card. On the title menu, select 'Multiplayer', and choose which multiplayer option to play.
