After you pull the inside hood release , go around to the front of the Thunderbird
There is a 2nd lever under the front edge of the hood , at the center , push on the
right side of the lever as you are slightly pressing down on the hood so the catch
releases and then lift the hood until the supports hold it open
the door ajar switches are part of the door latch assembly in the door
get a piece of wire and connect it to the latch keeping in long enough to reach
