Try checking the fuse.
it is located in the in cab fuse box labeled as mirror.
You can't be serious. If the display light goes out...that means it is out. Buy a new radio if it really bothers you.
if the car is not equiped with a factory amp then it is on the radio head unit itself. if it did most nissan's have it behind one of the rear panels in the trunk.
I have same problem.
In a 1991 Nissan Sentra, the radio fuse is typically located in the fuse box, which can be found under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, you may need to remove a cover. The specific fuse for the radio is usually labeled in the fuse box diagram, often identified as the "audio" or "radio" fuse. If you check the owner's manual, it will provide the exact location and amperage for the fuse.
To uninstall the radio on a 1997 Nissan Sentra, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Then, carefully remove the trim panel surrounding the radio by using a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool to avoid damaging the plastic clips. Once the trim is off, unscrew the mounting screws holding the radio in place, and gently pull the radio out. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna cable from the back of the radio to complete the removal.
Located in the passenger compartment near steerling wheel. Pull panel to see the fuse box which one is for the radio?
A person can obtain a radio wiring diagram print out for this car at an auto shop. They can also looking the cars maintenance manual for the diagram.
