How do you prepare a field for a mobile home?

You would first have to plan a concrete pad for the mobile to sit on. Make sure this is near the entrance or driveway. These are not easy units to transport over soft ground. While planning the pad, remember to include an incoming water line from city if possible, or from your well. If there is to be a new well, I would highly recommend it being close to the home and to have a well shed of at least 8x8x8 to accommadate the pressure tank and valves. You will possibly also need a septic pit and a septic field, at least 100 feet away from the well. This may need to be built to certain specs. (depending where you are) and will almost certainly require inspection by local authorities. -Electricity supply is also something to consider.
