You can't get unlimited time. You have to defeat bosses to get more time on your phantom hourglass. Once you defeat all bosses you might get unlimited time...Maybe but I doubt it. You can also get more time by the treasure underneath the water. You can find out where you find the treasures by getting treasure maps. After you get the map you get a savage arm and get it from under the sea. The Maximum time given is 25 minutes. Unless you cheat you cant get unlimited time. Sup guys

Talk to the Zaus, and then go back to the temple of the ocean king. When you get to the red door, draw a triforce on it. Continue on until you get more maps, and then you have to collect "pure metals" found on various islands.

Yeah you can, in fact you can continue playing after you complete the main story line with extra privleges, or extra special things to do in several games like in Megaman or Grand Theft Auto (I think, but I'm pretty sure of it). Well you don't get extra privleges or things to do in Legend of Zelda Phantom hourglass, except collecting the golden ship parts, getting all the hearts, spirit gems, equipment capacity increasers (e.g. bigger bomb bag), treasure maps and finally start buying ship parts so you can give away ship parts to people over battle mode.
