If you go to Settings > Discussion you can set an IP blacklist.
Assuming you have a self-hosted WordPress blog through WordPress.org (and not .com), there are a couple of really great social commenting plugins available. My two favorites have been DISCUS and LiveFyre. Discus creates a login gateway where commenters can more easily like and reply to other commenters. There's also some much more efficient spam protection with DISCUS. LiveFyre integrates both Facebook and Twitter commenting into your WordPress comments, so that if your post is shared on Facebook, it aggregates the comments directly into the comment section of your post at your blog. Ditto this for Twitter. Additionally, if you're looking for just Facebook comment integration, you can use the official Facebook plugin for WordPress, which allows both Facebook logins and Facebook commenting to your blog posts.
Blog commenting is one of the link building strategy. It exposes your blog to a wide range of audience, give your blog popularity, and above all your blog gets some reputation in form of a link back and interestingly your blog traffic increases through this simple blog commenting.i hope it helps
The term blog comes from the shorting of the phrase "web log". A blog is basically an online journal. You can write about just about anything. Some blogs are personal, while others are for businesses. Some free blogging platforms are Blogger, Wordpress, and Livejournal.
WordPress is actually a powerful web design app or blog maker .Just by adding some plug in you can customise your site/blog.
After installing Wordpress in your Web space , Go to the dashboard and select import . Here you can provide your blogspot address and you need log on to your Blogger account to allow Wordpress to access your blog content . Now your Blogger blog will be completely transferred to Wordpress .You may change the default Wordpress permalinks structure of you want to maintain your traffic as before .
If it is on the WordPress blog you can. But, if you use it in other blogs, maybe some of them may be supported and some of them were not supported. Because I didn't try it before (Another Q: Does WordPress poll can be acted as HTML)
You can either administer your own Wordpress blog or you can become an editor by becoming an administrator of a Worpress blog through a co-edotir by becoming an outside user of a Wordpress blog within another administrators acceptance as a authorized user. Find out more by visiting http://www.WordpressInformation.Com/
A blog username is two things. It's: 1. What your blog will be called. 2. What your site will be called. For example, if you make your blog username this: christrocks, your blog will be called Christrock's Blog. Your blog address will be (let's say your using Wordpress) www. christrocks. wordpress. com. (by the way, that is an actual blog)
Your original works, on your Wordpress blog, are automatically protected by copyright. Using others' copyright-protected works on your Wordpress blog requires an exemption in the law or permission from the copyright holder.
To delete a blog, in your dashboard go to Tools>Delete Site.
In your blog editor you'll see three lines that are there for dividers.
I guess it was a WorPress.com Blog and there was sth. agaist their rules on it. To prevent this you should use the self hosted version and buy your own hosting at ~ $2,49 / month then you are your own Boss.
