I went to a lock shop that specialized in keyless entry. They sold me a Fob for $70.00 because i didn't have one & they programmed it.
you will have to get the dealership to do it for you.
lt uses a spin on filter, a very popular one that fits a lot of GM vehicles. Napa part number 1040 or 21040 for the less expensive one.
It requires the use of a scan tool.
There is a conduit with a fastener at the end. When I obtained my 2005 Buick LeSabre my rear air vents seemed to blow less than I had expected. After further inspection, I discovered that the conduit was not attached to the vent stack. So I played with it until I got it to slide into the vent stack and it seems to work as I would have expected at present.

You will need a OBD2 reader to reset it. They can be obtained for less than $50 at most auto stores. Alternatively some auto parts stores will read and reset the codes for you free.

The Rendezvous has an electronic ignition control system. It does not have a distributor cap that would have a node inside it spinning around to make contacts to fire the sparkplugs. Instead it's yet another thing controlled by a computer that triggers the sparkplugs in proper sequence to run your engine.
