Unique, it is the same as in English, we just don't pronounce it the same way.
As a Canadian, I can say Canada is unique. It is unique firstly because of our accent. When you say "hey" we pronounce ot "ay" or "eh". We alo spell things differently. we spell "favorite" as favourite" and "color" as colour". We also have a wide range of climate.
