This is the thing, there is no proof of there being a God see?
Humans think that you can believe in something without knowing that it exists.
People have so many definitions of God so it is hard to prove that God exists. A religious experience may make a believer of you but it may not "prove" God exists as your experience may not convince a non-believer.
Prove that god exists
yes
William Paley not only believed in God, he thought he could prove that God exists.
I don't think there is. Science can only prove what can be observed.
Theology must rely on philosophy since there is no way to prove a god exists.
A:No. A Christian could have what he or she regards as a religious experience and a Hindu could have a very similar religious experience. In both cases, this proves no more than that they are devout followers of their relative faiths. The Christian's experience does not prove that God exists, any more than the Hindu's religious experience proves that Brahma or Vishnu exists.
It is not possible to prove God doesn't exist, just as we can't prove fairies, elves and unicorns don't exist. The inability to prove something doesn't exist does not therefore mean that it does exist. It is not possible to prove that there is no teapot in orbit around Pluto, yet the lack of such a proof doesn't mean that the teapot therefore exists. There have been several attempts to prove that God exists using logic (eg Kalam cosmological argument, Transcendental Argument for God [TAG]), but these are not universally accepted as valid and true - if they were then there'd be no need for any further discussion.
We can not prove that god exists or if god does not exist - belief in god is a matter of FAITH not fact. Therefore it follows that we cannot say when or if god created the universe - believe whatever makes you feel good.

If you don't believe in God, you don't have to. If someone forces you into believing something, the process is unnatural and you won't have faith in it. Who is God, anyway? Which religion is the true religion and how do we know? How can God have no beginning and no end? How can you prove God exists? The truth is, we can't scientifically prove God exists. Some questions we ask, we have no answers to them. "Believing" in God isn't something that happens overnight. You have to find out more about yourself before you begin to explore who God is. Who are you, and how does God relate to you personally? It takes faith to believe, and we can't rely on worldly things to prove God exists. If you start to decide who you are, and only you, and pray to God for help, maybe you will discover who God is. Which no one can do all the way, but you can a lot. If you don't have a good attitude about it, you won't be able to form a good relationship with God. That's why you have to work on yourself before you ask questions about anything else.
Some science suggests that a god may exist. However there is still no proof to prove that god does exist. Actually, there's no proof to prove that science exists either, but don't let that bother you. Just take our word for it. Would we get something this important wrong?
