Well it depends on you and your opinions. Do you believe in them? No one has proof but there are people who believe that you have to believe in fairies to ever see one. Fairies are scared when they see humans. They think you will hurt them. Mermaids are the same way. It all depends on you. You can make it happen. As long as you believe. =)

None. The first fairies came from Celtic/Irish legends and they were mean little people who took the souls of people. This is the way the ancients explained how/why people went into a coma. They believed that the fairies took the soul and to get the soul back a human had to dig up a fairy ring, but a spell was put on the ring so the person digging would fall asleep before they could get the soul back. This explained how a person remained in a coma for days.
