Use a small round punch and push in the rod that is inside the small hole under the lock switch on the steering column. Unce you have it pushed in, the lock will pull right out. you have to have the ignition lock in the run position in order for that to work,but do not start car. put the new one back the same way you pulled the old one out.

Yes. Take the bottom rear seat cushion out. Take the 2 screws out of the access panel. Remove the access panel. Disconnect the elctrical connector and remove the lock ring with a punch and hammer CC. Use a wooden dowel or brass punch and don't use a steel punch because it could create sparks.
if it is the circular metal bracket then you need a nail punch in one of the holes using a hammer knock it in the direction of the metal tabs to release. refit the opposite way
