What i did was walked around in eterna forest and find asilcoon, put it 1st in your party, go into a battle, instantly switch to strongest Pokemon, win the battle, and then go into another battle, do the same thing eventually it will evolve.
Im sorry about this answer its isn't the best in the world but for all you Pokemon platinum cheaters (in a nice way) instead of action replay get an R4 card, you can put up to 40 games on it and it has LOADS of cheats for each game including Pokemon platinum, dimpond and pearl.
