Well, most like your fine feathered friend isn't very fond of his/her cage. He'd rather be hanging with his best pal (you!), exploring, or sitting on a perch outside of his cage. Remember, his cage is like a trap...a prison cell to him. Let him get as much outside time as possible, so he doesn't go insane!
WELL, in answer to your question, before you put him in his cage, remember not to come upon him as frustrated, angry, scared, and mean. He'll just get scared and flee from you, or, if worst comes to worst...bite.
Carefully, and swiftly, slide your finger right under his stomach, above his feet. He'll have no choice but to step up. If your little buddy is an escape artist (like my bird!), then gently put your other hand over him, so he can't fly out of your hand to get away from going in his cage.
Good luck!
put that into to that then this into that done
Pinocchio doesn't like Stromboli, because Stromboli put Pinocchio in a bird cage. Pinocchio cried that Stromboli put him in a bird cage.
you should put it in another cage, or lock it in a small, unharmful room, and turn on the light. its what i did... it worked :| But eh, someone will answer better. i say put it in another cage, or have ahold of it in your hand. I put my bird on my shoulder, obviously because it's got used to rest on my shoulder.
I either open the cage door and let my bird fly around the room while I clean the cage.
Put bird seeds in a cage and wat in till it go in
I put my budgie on the table with the top half of the cage over him and news paper over the table. Hope this helped :D
