How do you put a giraffe in the fridge......................... shove it in, close the door.
How do you get an elephant in the fridge........... open the door, take the giraffe out and put the elephant in and shut the door.
Which animal couldn't go to the lion kings meeting....................the elephant, he's the fridge
Who got the elephant out of the fridge.............................................. the giraffe.
My suggestion is that you do these jokes with a few seconds in between to make them think it's a WHOLE different joke.
All of them, as water will run off the larger animals and down on a smaller animal and again till all animals are wet. Unless all the smaller animals stack up largest to smallest on the Elephant's back then only the frog, snake and mice stay dry. But then again if the alligator ate the mice, snake, frog and the pig, and the bear ate the alligator, camel and the giraffe, then only the elephant would get wet, as the bear could standup under the umbrella on the Elephants back.
No an Elephant is actually an illusion, they're not even real So the mouse is probably the biggest animal in the world Thank you goodbye (:
Because "Shooting an Elephant" by George Orwell is an essay, it contains its own thesis, which is an argument about the nature of imperialism. This thesis does not appear in just one sentence of the essay, but various passages contain it, with the rest of the essay-the story of shooting the elephant-providing an example to "prove" its truth. The argument about imperialism that is central to "Shooting an Elephant" can be summarized something like this: Imperialism affects the oppressed as well as the oppressor. Because it is an immoral relationship of power, it compels the oppressor to act immorally to keep up appearances that he is right. The narrator realizes that the British Raj which he serves is "an unbreakable tyranny" yet despises the people he oppresses for allowing him to do so. On the one hand he is regarded as a wise ruler, but on the other he knows he is wrong in what he does but must behave in such a way to disquise this. As a result, he finds himself doing whatever he must do, which in this case is to kill the elephant, to "avoid looking [the] fool" that he knows he is for representing the powers of imperialism.
The narrator in Orwell's Shooting an Elephant feels the need to be accepted by the Burmese who hate him. He feels sympathetic to them and resents his position as a police officer. He is willing to kill a relatively harmless animal in order to look better in the eyes of the people.
The Elephant is Slow to Mate by D.H. Lawrence "The elephant, the huge old beast, is slow to mate; he finds a female, they show no haste they wait. For the sympathy in their vast shy hearts slowly, slowly to rouse as they loiter along the river-beds and drink and browse and dash in panic through the brake of forest with the herd and sleep in massive silence, and wake together, without a word. So slowly the great hot elephant hearts grow full of desire, and the great beasts mate in secret at last, hiding their fire. Oldest they are and the wisest of beasts so they know at last how to wait for the loneliest of feasts for the full repast. They do not snatch, they do not tear; their massive blood moves as the moon-tides, near, more near till they touch in flood." This poem is about how the elephant known to be wise and always remember, may in fact be smarter then the rest of the animals (including humans) in the animal kingdom. Elephants according to Lawrence, do not rush into anything when it comes to mating. They are patient and build up the desire/relationship before consummation occurs.
