If you don't know how to make a header, you might as well just go buy the Mrcrosoft Office 2007 book. that's just gay. but how do you delete one

Header is the area at the top of the pages. Footer is the area at the bottom of the pages.
Doble click in header area then on Design tab click on arrow below Header to expand list and choose Remove Header.
Go to the toolbar, click head/footer and go to the header section and enter your text.
Click the Insert tab then look for Header & Footer Group.

In the header configuration section, click the option for "different first page."
To place a header in a Microsoft Word document using Microsoft office 2007, go to the insert tab. Near the middle of the tab is an option for either a header of footer, click the one you want. If you are using and older version of office, I think you go to view in the toolbar and click the header/footer menu, but I haven't used the older office in a while, so this might be wrong.
These are called header. You must go to insert and say header.
