you can place new airports and scenery through the addon scenery folder and launch it using the scenery library - aircraft are added through the SimObject folder and have to be added to the relevant aircraft's config file

It help to repair your aircaft only put the model in place eg=i download a texture for boig 747_2004 and i have to copy the file and paste in the boing747_400 file in airplanes

It might be wise to use something like movie masks or movie maker pro which in effect captures the screen activity. There some recorders like fs recorder but this does record the flight but it will not create anything but binary code which fsx creates to view the flight. The fs decoder is a add-on and requires fsx running to view the flight after
