To burn a disc, insert a blank disc, and a disc symbol will appear on the desktop. Drag the desired file into the CD. Double click the CD, and a little gear sybol should be near the top left hand corner. Click that, then click 'burn' and it will burn, then you can eject the CD or DVD.

∙ 13y agoIf you wish to create a DVD for your finished movie select iDVD from iMovie's Share menu. To just save the video file, create a New Burn Folder from the Finder's File menu, and then select the Export Movie option from iMovie's Share menu and save it to the burn folder. If you have several movies you can add them all to the burn folder. Insert your blank disc and click on the Burn button in the Burn folder's window.
