Its better to put it to sleep
Hybernate means to put your computer to sleep
Stand-by on a computer is like a button to put it to sleep like an iPod.
You can put your computer in Hibernate mode. This will save your last session and resume from where you last left off. Waking a computer from hibernation takes half the time as turning it on from shutting down. However, you need to shut your computer down properly every now and again, to prevent damage. You can also put your computer into Sleep mode. It will come on as soon as someone touches it. However Sleep mode does not turn your PC off - so you are still paying for electricity if you put it in Sleep mode.
To put the system to sleep, click on Start then click the little > arrow next to where it says 'Shut down' - and select 'Sleep'. That puts the computer into sleep mode. All it does, is put the computer into a 'low-power state' - by switching off the display, and powering-down the hard drive. It keeps power going to the motherboard, which monitors the keyboard and mouse. If it detects either a key-press or movement from the mouse, it wakes the computer up, and (if set) prompts for the user password.
it stops, just put ur computer on like sleep, i think that might work
If it's shut down for a reasonable time - yes. If you intend to use the computer again in less than an hour - it's better to put it into sleep mode.
