If you are new to the world of stretching, you would be wise to talk to your local professional body piercer before getting into any stretching plan. There is a right way and an very wrong way to do stretching. There are folks out there that just don't care and will cram stuff into piercings as quickly as possible, that is not traditional nor is it the right way to do it.

Stretching needs to be planned and done in a proper time frame. One gauge once every 30 days no faster, regardless of what you think your lobes will handle. This method allows you to reverse the procedure and have the piercings shrink down to almost the original gauge without permanent ear lobe damage. There will be some out there that will say you can do it faster and by doing this or that, well that's BS and they have the screwed up ears to prove it.

Most professional body piercing studios have stretching programs fro those who want to get up there without doing serious damage. So check with you local professional studios and see who may be offering that service in your area. But first and most importantly use common sense with any stretching plan.
