If you uninstall halo custom edition and reinstall it do you lose all the maps?
Sadly yes but you can save the maps in another file and then put it back in the custom edition you reinstalled.
I downloaded Halo Combat Evolved for my PC Windows XP and I want to know what i have to do to add like skins to the game And how do i ADD modded maps not just put mods over original maps?
I suggest getting Custom Edition, as it is much friendlier to custom mods. Halo CE does not allow modded maps, neither skins.
Why does halo PC custom edition developer mode doesn't have a campaign mode?
To play campaign mode in Halo Custom Edition you need a custom AI file. Downloadable from http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?pg=1&sid=26 . You need to download a custom AI file with Campaign mode and put it in the 'halo/maps' folder. Don't forget to backup the original AI file (just rename it).

To get maps on halo 2 all you have to do is go to a video games store and you can find halo 2 map pack. Its a CD that you put in and it downloads all the maps. An easier and way cheaper way to do it is if you have xbox live than put in halo 2 and go on xbox live. Then you click on xbox live again and you will enter the screen where you choose what you want to play. Choose content download (or something like that) and now you can get all of them for free.That is how you get maps on halo 2JL
