This is one of the top things that windows phone 7 users are complaining about. Right now you cant. The LG Quantum is a Windows Phone 7 Device. None of the windows phones support custom ringtones yet. This was omitted at launch and has not been changed as of yet. Basically the software just doesn't allow it. There WAS a way to jailbreak the phone, but it wasn't very reliable and it had a tendency to cause as many problems as it fixed, along with voiding the warranty. Microsoft has acknowledged this issue, but there is no official word as yet as to when this will - if ever - be corrected. So we wait. Just keep an ear out, I recommend keeping an eye on Microsoft's official site, as well as development blogs, twitter, and Facebook to keep an eye on any official word on the issue.

Yes, there are free ringtones for the LG 160. Be weary of the "free" tag though because sometimes you'll get bombarded with spam after supplying your phone number. One company that offers them is Zedge.
You have to get a special cord
