Use your key to unlock the storage area. Open the "door" to the storage area and pull the top straight up and forward. I find it easiest to grab it somewhere near the middle. Lift the rear part of the top straight up over the main body of the top and close the storage area door. You may have to go from side to side on the car to lift the rear part out of the way of the storage door. Once the door is closed, lower the rear part of the top onto the trunk area, lift the front of the top enough to slide and click the rear into the channel just above the trunk; be sure it is clicked in on both sides. Lower the top back down in front and hook the hooks into place. Note: these tops are notorious for contracting while the're in the storage compartment. You may have to have someone push down on the top to hook the hooks. I've found it is best to put the top up while it is warm outside, especially if you know the weather is going to turn cooler overnight!
