It depends on which one. For the Barracks cover, (the big green or white one) take your frame, (The black part) and attach your adjustable metal piece to the slot in the front. put the cloth cap on it, and expand the metal clip on the band to stretch it firmly around the band.pull the edges down, fit them over the screw posts, attach your black band, and screw in the posts. then attach the gold or black Eagle, Globe & Anchor through the hole in the front, put the screw on the back of it, and you're set.

What was a major defect of the Army of Virginia in 1862?

The creation and organization of a new army out of remnants or other armies is always problematic. When the Army of Virginia was first put together, Union General John Pope was given three main corps that had never operated together. And there were issues of morale. All three corps had been harassed and beaten by Stonewall Jackson earlier in the year. Added to this were the corps received from the dissembled Army of the Potomac.

What are the benefits of joining the marines corp to a illegal immigrant?

they can get caught by the cops and sent back to Mexico faster!!! :) The marine corps are part of the military and they have legal benefits in the U.S and are allowed to live in the U.S. An illegal immigrant is someone who is illegally allowed to live in any country or someone who has entered any country without confirmation from proper authorities. There are no benefits to joining the marine corps for a illegal immigrant because in order to join the marine corps you need to register and you need to show them a LEGAL U.S passport that identifies that you are allowed to be in the U.S. Illegal immigrants are illegal in any country because they do not have a passport. So if you were to go over to the marine corps and attempt to register they would realize that you are an illegal immigrant because you do not have a passport and then you would be sent back to whatever country you came from or you would be put in jail or a consequential illegal immigration center for a certain period of time until you are released and sent back to your country.

Is there any tricks or tips for mounting ribbons on marine uniforms?

Check the Marine Corps Order P1020.34G to ensure you have the correct placement and order of precedence. Marine On Line can even print you out a little picture of your awards in order. Put the jacket or shirt on a hanger and use two pennies together to assist you in measuring your 1/8th inch. You could always ask your NCOs for help. That's what they're their for!

Why does the Marine Corps sew a name tape on their pants?

Same reason they have to put the little stips of white tape on there cover, socks, shoes, undershirts and everything else they wear. Even dog tags. It's Identification. In case something happens to them. Also when you have a room of Marines everyone's gear looks the same so this also helps keep track of which item belongs to which Marine.

How many people in Royal Marines Brigade?

The Royal Marines 3 Commando Brigade normally has about 7,000 men. Don't expect to ever see it all together employed at any time. It is routinely put together in much the same way that a Marine Expeditionary Unit is. That is as customized and mission specific unit based on a specific contingency or mission.
