If you have your Mac OSx install disc it is easy. Insert the disc in your DVD drive and then double-click to open. Select the Optional Install and Click through the license and instructions and select the Mac hard disk as the destination folder. Click the arrow next to applications. From this list select mail. Click install. If you do not have an install disc click the link.

Open Mail. Click the name Mail, top left of the screen. Now click preferences. On the window that comes up click the Accounts tab. On the bottom left click the + sign. Put in the email address and password and your iMac will do the rest.

The 5th iMac was the aluminum iMac which came out in (August 2007), followed by the iMac Aluminum Unibody (2009). The newest iMac is simply called 2012 iMac and it came out on November 30, 2012.
