I know a site that teaches you how to draw manga really well , it's called Manga University (At least for me) and it has text tutorials and video tutorials, however if you want to draw a specific character from an anime cartoon then I recommend Dragoart, and they also have text tutorials and video tutorials. If none of that helps then you can borrow a book about how to draw manga from a library in the art section (or if you go to school the school library) and I'm sure they'll have lots of books.

Books in Japan are read the opposite way that books in the US are, so make sure you open on right side, instead of the left. Next, start in the top right-hand corner and work your way down, reading everything right to left. There are boxes, jsut follow them. Make sure you read the speech bubbles in right-to left order, too, or you'll get confused. If you need a visual, look at this: http://oneduasan.wordpress.com/2006/04/10/how-to-read-manga/

You don't read Manga on MyAnimeList. MyAnimeList is to keep track of what Anime/Manga you have Watched/Read. There are also some social networking elements on the website, so you can send messages to people, add them to friends, join clubs, ect.

Why does traditional manga read from right to left and why does modern manga reads from left to right?

The only manga that read from left to right are "manga" originally published in a language that's read from left to right (i.e., English,) and Japanese manga that are "flipped" by a publisher for publication in a language that's read from left to right. Even "modern" Japanese manga are read from right to left.
