WHAT IS anime and manga? Anime is Japanese animation, like cartoons. Examples: Bleach, Naruto, Death Note ect. Manga is like a Japanese comic book. It's read backwards, and can be about almost anything from ninjas to vampires. If you want the newest and best manga, I suggest subsribing to Shonen Jump. It's a great magazine. That is if shonen is the type of anime you like, shonen is more a boys type of anime, but girls (like myself) tend to prefer Shoujo. There are a lot of other types of animes, btu their names elude me at the moment sorry ^.^'

How much do freelance manga writers earn?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

That's a horribly vague question. You didn't even specify country. It depends on how successful you are. If you're at the bottom of the pile (assistant, student, even) then next to nothing or minimal depending who you're working for.

On the other hand, the Sailor Moon artist doesn't even need to draw or work anymore because she has that much money (and still does) from just royalties alone.

What chapter does Vampire Knight Guilty end?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The chapter Vampire Knight Guilty ends on and Vampire Knight Destiny starts on is chapter 45. Most of that chapter is the ending of Vampire Knight Guilty, but a small part of it is related to the third season. You should re-read the ending of that season anyway, so you don't get lost in the manga.

What should i call my manga?

User Avatar

Asked by FizzbombGaminggp4043

If the manga is about the artist of the manga itself, (Say, if Artist A were to make a comic called "The Life of Artist A".) it would be an autobiographical manga.

The manga is about another artist, (Say, Artist A makes a comic about Artist B.) it would be a biographical manga.

If the manga is about a fictional manga artist, then it would depend on what genre the manga was. Drama, comedy, etc.

What happens in the end of gakuen Alice?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

That has yet to be told; the manga itself is still releasing chapters, so it's not over yet. And for the Anime apparently from what I've been hearing there will be a season 2. I have yet to hear when that will come out but time will tell.

The manga is awesome, and the anime which I personally dislike can be viewed at animefreak.tv

What are some good sad mangas?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Dragon Ball Z because Goku went through a lot of stuff and he almost died and left.

AnswerOk, Dragon Ball Z is not sad, the saddest is Elfen Lied, and I can prove why:

It is the story of a girl named Lucy. In the beginning of the story, she breaks out of a confinement chamber underground. She is in there because she is a Diclonious. A Diclonious is an inhuman man/woman who has grown horns out of their head and has got the world's strongest weapon attracted to them, called vectoms. They are giant arms which extend out of the backs of diclonious, they can crush or destroy anything and stop anything from hitting their controler. Once Lucy breaks out she gets a shot to her metal helmet, knocking her out into the sea. When she wakes up, she is on the shore of a beach. She is unable to remember her past memories, and can only say nyu. She is taken in by a boy named Kyota and his cousin Yuka. As the 13 episode continues, we find out more about Lucy's past self (as a child) and her past knowing Kyota. Along the episodes we find more diclonious, sent out to find Lucy. The first is Nanawho is a very sweet girl who doesn't plan on killing humans. Lucy and Nana end up together. Then there is Mariko. Mariko is the only little girl diclonious in the series. She only wants to kill. But when she was a baby, a bomb was planted inside of her body, to stop her from getting too out of hand. She is told she is allowed to kill Nana by Mariko's father, who was like a father to Nana as well. So it was a shocking moment of the series.

SPOILERS

In the last episode, after the fight between Lucy and Mariko, after Mariko's tragic death, Lucy kisses Kyota and says goodbye to him because she is going to fight the rest of the army. Her other horn flew off in the fight, and was lost in the moonlit sky. Then awhile later it shows Yuka setting the table, putting out an extra bowl. As then Kyota says,"Oh, Yuka, you've placed out an extra bowl." And then Yuka replies,"Yes, I know, but I thought it would be nice as she was here with us." Then there is a knock at the front door and Kyota goes out, but as he goes out, the clock that Lucy used to try to fix (since it was broken for the whole series) starts, strangly, ringing. And then in the background, you can just see a black shadow...is it lucy???

--IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON WATCHING THIS ANIME, please note that Elfen Lied involves themes of social alienation, identity, revenge, child abuse, jealousy, regret and the value of humanity. The series employs graphic violence and nudity as well.--
