If the behaviour of a parent is that of a sociopath then yes it can sometimes be inherited. Children copy their parents, they rationalise the behaviour as normal and so they replicate it.

The conscience boat came floating by when they were young and they never jumped on it, and the boat never comes by again. The best way to deal with a sociopath is to get as far away from them as possible. If you must have contact, have as little as possible.
Be sure your wife was diagnosed by a proper doctor and he determined she was a sociopath. If this is true, then you do have a right to take your children to a Child Psychologist and I suggest you do.
