I learned it from a book called JavaScript for Kids, it helped a LOT and taught me basically everything I needed to know. The rest I picked up on the way, (mostly ChatGPT lol).

Javascript is more easier, while Python is more complex. So, maybe you should try Javascript.

Try and code simple things like alert statements, function calling on click event of form submit, function declaration and variable assignment. Bottom line is code and then only you will learn any programming language.
I would recommend that you A) develop and understanding of HTML and B) learn javascript. It is a very easy language and there are a plethora of examples and good explanations of how to write it. Visual basic is a good language to learn as well, but with javascript all you need is a text editor and a web browser and you can practice on any computer.
Codecademy (google it) is a simple, nice and interactive way to learn javascript, and other script languages.
The Yamaha keyboard that is recommend for beginners is the Yamaha EZ-200 lighted up keyboard. The keyboard lights up the keys that need to be pressed to help you learn a song.
The coding is limited to JavaScript, HTML/CSS and SQL and is really nothing more than an introduction to web-based programming.
Of course a beginner can learn at Aikido of Phoenix. Any beginner can learn at any Dojo. They may have some classes that are for advanced Aikidoka however, you shouldn't have any problems at all fitting in.
It would be more beneficial to code and learn javascript. There is enough material available on web for it & programming languages are better to code & learn then study & learn. If you still insist on textbooks then O'Reily books on javascript maybe a good place to start.
